Kazunori Inoue (former Member of the House of Representatives) has been appointed as Executive Officer (Security) at Cognitive Research Lab, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Hideto Tomabechi, hereafter CRL).

Kazunori Inoue has held various key positions, including working at the Cabinet Secretariat’s National Security and Crisis Management Office, serving as a Cabinet Councillor in the Cabinet Secretariat (Special Assistant to the Prime Minister in the First Abe Administration), Director of the Crisis Management Division in the Defense Policy Bureau (during the Great East Japan Earthquake), Director of the Defense Ministry’s Minister\u2019s Secretariat, Director-General of the Okinawa Defense Bureau, Director of the Procurement Management Department at the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency, and Councillor in the Minister\u2019s Secretariat of the Defense Ministry, before serving as a Member of the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In his new role at CRL, as Executive Officer (Security), he will be responsible for overseeing our consulting business, think tank operations, and related software and hardware research and development in the areas of cognitive warfare defense, cyber defense, and overall security. He will undertake these responsibilities with the advice of our Special Advisor, Dr. Linton Wells, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Graduated from Yokohama National University with a degree in Economics. He served as a former Counselor in the Minister’s Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, former Director General of the Okinawa Defense Bureau, and former Director General of the Shimane Prefecture Defense Cooperation Office. He also held positions as the Director of Procurement Management Department at the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA) and as a Counselor in the Minister’s Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 2017, he was elected in the 48th House of Representatives election and served as a member of the House of Representatives until 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
